	Arôme	Oak notes of freshly cut wood, spices and oat biscuits meet vanilla and citrus.
	Bouche	Ripe plums and vanilla combine with cinnamon, nutmeg and barley notes. Light honey notes are added.

Description du produit

Flóki Single Cask Reserve is produced entirely with ingredients from Iceland. The particularly robust Icelandic grain contains little starch, which is why around 50 per cent more barley has to be used than with other barley varieties. This bottling matured in a cask that was topped with Flóki Young Malt. This gives the whisky a fresh woody flavour with subtle accents of spices and a pleasant sweetness.

Aroma: Eichenholznoten von frisch geschnittenem Holz, Gewürze und Haferkekse treffen auf Vanille und Zitrus.

Geschmack: Reife Pflaumen und Vanille verbinden sich mit Zimt, Muskat und Gerstenoten. Leichte Honignoten kommen hinzu.

Abgang: Mittellang und würzig mit erneuten Zitrusnoten und etwas Holz, zum Ende bittersüße Akzente von Malz.

Kommentar: Ich bin ein absoluter Floki Fan. Ich vermute mal es gibt entweder ja es schmeckt einem oder man kann ihn nicht „riechen“, dazwischen ist nicht viel. Sehr speziell!

Kommentar: Im Geruch feuchter Waldboden und anflüge von Schafstall. Prägnante Kaffee pfeffrige Note der auch im Abgang bleibt. Ich mag ihn sehr.

Aroma: Strenge Kräuter & Gras, - altes, nasses Heu ...
Geschmack: Süß, etwas traubenfruchtig, aber vor allem eher wie "Baumrinde"; eine ungewöhnliche Kräuterwürzigkeit.
Abgang: Mittellang; Puderzucker und eine ungewöhnliche Kräuterwürzigkeit.
Kommentar:
Sowohl im Aroma, wie auch im Geschmack sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Ein Erlebnis, sicherlich ja; aber doch wohl eher im Bereich Gin zu verorten.
