Bladnoch Vibrant Stills 18 Ans 2007/2025

This Bladnoch single cask, found exclusively for the German market, was selected by Alba Import together with Master Distiller Dr Nick Savage. The Bladnoch Quintessence matured for 18 years in a bourbon cask before the Single Malt was then bottled for the Vibrant Stills series at natural cask strength without chill-filtering and without the addition of colour. The unusually heavy distillate dates back to the days of Raymond Armstrong and presents the full splendour of what Bourbon barrel maturation has to offer. Fearsome citrus notes in the flavour with a pinch of hay and a conglomerate of fruit embedded in honey and toffee notes. Only 190 bottles could be bottled at cask strength in natural colour and without chill filtration. Bladnoch's cask stocks from the time before the Konzer takeover are small, which makes this Single Malt even more special.
