The Bumbu XO is distilled and matured in Panama. After ageing in ex-bourbon barrels, it is finished in sherry casks for six months, which gives the rum its soft, rich complexity. The Bumbu distillery was founded in 1893 and has been in continuous operation for more than 120 years.
