The Dalmore Vintage from 2006 was matured in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak and finished in hand-selected Matusalem and Amoroso sherry casks. Every year in November, Dalmore's whisky makers meet in the historic warehouse of the Highland distillery to inspect the ageing casks stored there. Only a few special casks are then selected by hand for the Dalmore Vintage bottling and carefully blended together.
Dalmore competition:
Buy selected Dalmore whiskies now between 27/10/2025 and 09/11/2025 and you will receive one raffle ticket for each bottling purchased. With a bit of luck, you could win a variety of fantastic prizes. Thefirst prize is an exclusive Dalmore tasting with the Brand Ambassador for the winner and 3 friends in a bar with shuttle service (return journey, with a start and end point). The second prize is a bottle of the Dalmore 18 Year Old, which has become an outstanding Single Malt with an exclusive character thanks to its long maturation period in ex-bourbon casks and rare Matusalem sherry casks. The third place winner will also receive a bottle of the 15-year-old Dalmore, a sweet and fruity Single Malt with orange and oak flavours. During this period, all buyers from Germany of the selected bottlings will automatically be entered into the prize draw. The winners of the prize draw will then be drawn at random at the end of the competition and informed of their win in writing as soon as possible. The conditions of participation can be found HERE! La distillerie: Dalmore
Dalmore is a high-quality Highland distillery with a good Whisky and an elegant bottle design. The distillery was long run by the noble Scottish Mackenzie clan. A member of the clan once saved King Alexander III's life while stag hunting by stabbing a deer attacking him at the last second. The king was so grateful that he allowed the Mackenzie clan to bear the royal twelve-tailed stag on their coat of arms. This symbol is still displayed on Dalmore bottles today. It was founded in 1839 and extended very often.

Aroma: Verlockende Noten von in Sherry eingelegten Rosinen, gerösteten Feigen, Zedernholz und Honig.
Geschmack: Dunkle Früchte vermischen sich mit Akzenten von Lakritze und Kakao, bevor sich Noten von Bergamotte und Blutorange entwickeln.
Abgang: Antike Sherrynoten treffen auf reiche Beeren-, Lakritz- und Kassiarindenoten und bleiben mit dunkler Schokolade lange im Mund bestehen.
