Aroma: Fruity with lemon and orange peel. Interesting notes of vanilla, juicy sultanas, dates, ginger and coconut follow.
Taste: Strong with nutmeg, roasted almonds and gingerbread spice.
Finish: Long, sweet and mild with lemon zest, vanilla and a hint of ginger and nutmeg.
Miniature Ardbeg TEN 0.05 L, 46% vol:
Aroma: Balanced and deep, peat smoke.
Taste: Sweet at first, then very intense smoky notes, spicy and full-bodied.
Finish: Long and smoky. Slightly sweet with a hint of malt.

Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or, the 'golden nectar', like every bottling from the Extra Matured range, was first matured in bourbon casks and then matured in white wine casks. Sauternes is probably one of the best-known wine-growing regions in France. Very sweet white wines are produced in the region. In 2019, the range was reorganised: this Single Malt Nectar d'Or did not have an age statement.
Ardbeg TEN is the right Single Malt for fans of smoky, intense whisky. It tastes full and intense. An aromatic smoky note hovers over it.

Kommentar: Den Nectar d'Or mag ich gerne. Er überzeugt mit schöner Süße und Zitrusnote. Im Aroma nehme ich honigartige Süße und zitronige bzw. Orangennoten wahr. Im Geschmack dominiert recht schnell die Süße, vor allem als Vanille. Hinzu tritt etwas nussiges und dann auch wieder Zitrusfrucht. Im Abgang bleibt die Süße erhalten und ich habe überraschend starke Eichennoten wahrgenommen.

Kommentar: fantastisch süßer Malt. Toll und Komplex. Ein paar Tröpfchen Wasser und er macht so richtig auf. Definitiv einer mit dem man den Abend verbringen und genießen kann. Toller langer Abgang der einen noch eine Weile begleitet
