With the Glendronach House Editions, the Highland distillery is launching a new permanent range for the global travel retail market, which interprets the character of selected cultural capitals around the world through Glendronach’s distinctive signature. Each bottling combines the distillery’s traditional expertise in sherry cask maturation with selected casks that reflect the individual character of each city. Glendronach The Venetian Room pays homage to the elegance and artistic richness of Venice. For this bottling, Glendronach’s classic maturation in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks is combined with the distinctive influences of Italian Amarone red wine casks. This combination of three different cask types lends the Single Malt an extraordinary depth and a harmonious blend of fruitiness, sweetness and complexity. Inspired by Venice’s romantic waterways, historic architecture and culinary traditions, The Venetian Room showcases the versatile side of the Glendronach style. The distillery’s rich sherry character is complemented by the warm and fruity nuances of the Amarone casks. An expressive expression that combines Scottish whisky tradition with Italian elegance and craftsmanship.
