The Glengoyne Bourbon Barrel Benchmark is an 11-year-old Single Malt Whisky from the Scottish Highlands, matured in first-fill Bourbon casks. This special maturation process gives the whisky a creamy texture and tropical fruitiness, and it is served at cask strength (56.6% ABV). The nose reveals fragrant sweet pastries, zesty lemon zest and ripe bananas, whilst the taste presents mango, banana, a malty base, creamy vanilla and caramel. The finish is dry with subtle oak and a hint of sweetness. This whisky is a true delight for the senses and ideal for whisky enthusiasts looking to embark on an intense flavour journey.

The Glengoyne distillery is the most southern distillery of the Scottish Highlands. The Distillery was founded in 1833 by a local farmer called George Connell. It is an half an hour north west of Glasgow.
