The Haggis is a special Blended Malt Whisky that was created in a creative process by Whisky.de. After the first own bottlings Unicorn and Highland Cattle, Haggis now follows. The 10-year-old complements the range of own brands and is characterised by a spicy flavour profile with fine accents of subtle sweetness. The flavour profile also gave this bottling its name, as the characteristic spiciness of the whisky can also be found in the Scottish national dish, haggis. And what is the cute little animal on the front of the label all about? It's the haggis animal, a mythical creature that lives in the meadows of Scotland and is probably a distant relative of the local Wolpertinger.

    sehr gefällig und rund in der Nase ohne störende Noten
    Geschmack: Süße Eiche Pfeffer Nüsse
    süße im Antritt, dann Würze (Pfeffer(leichte schärfe)), minimale Nussigkeit und Holz
    Abgang: Eiche Herb
    relativ schnell weg es bleiben nur prickelnde Tannine bzw. Holzwürze
    Kommentar:
    Trotzdem schön gemachter süffiger Blend, der für den Preis nicht wehtut, insgesamt sehr gefällig aber auch nicht sonderlich komplex ist, will er aber wohl auch gar nicht sein
