Description du produit
The 18-year-old Highland Park was made from barley that was smoked over peat from Hobbister Moor. This and the long maturation in hand-selected first-fill sherry casks and American oak barrels pre-filled with sherry gave the Orkney whisky a sweetish peat smoke flavour that combines with maritime accents and notes of heather honey.

    Kommentar:
    Im Geruch leichter Rauch mit Sherry, Früchten und Eiche. Alles sehr harmonisch, keine Note sticht hervor. Und mit jedem riechen scheint man wieder etwas Neues zu entdecken, sehr komplex.

    Im Geschmack die Früchte aus den Sherryfässern getragen von dem leichten Rauch und der Eiche. Ein weiches Mundgefühl. Noten von Zartbitterschokolade und auch eine leichte Süße. Wie auch im Geruch alles harmonisch und recht komplex.

    Der Abgang ist mittellang und gestaltet sich als geschmeidiges Ausklingen. Gegen Ende drückt die Eiche schön auf die Zunge.

    Ist halt einer mit dem man sich langer beschäftigen kann.
