Kavalan Solist Rum Cask - German Selection by Schlumberger is another exclusive bottling for the German market, selected as part of the German Selection range from Schlumberger, a company with a long tradition in premium spirits. This single cask whisky from Taiwan matured in former rum casks and was bottled at 50 % vol. cask strength. The island's warm, tropical climate accelerates the maturation process considerably and ensures particularly intense flavours. During maturation, around 10 to 12% of the whisky, the so-called Angels' Share, evaporates each year, making the remaining flavours even more concentrated and complex. The bottle is simple and elegant and emphasises the exclusivity of this rarity.
