Which whiskies are suitable for beginners? In our Beginner Live Tasting, we present four Single Malts that are particularly suitable as a start into the world of whisky. Highlands Park 12 Years is spicy and sweet due to its maturation in sherry casks. Tomintoul 10 Years is milder, a pleasantly soft whisky from Speyside. Also from this region is Dailuaine 16 years, which combines notes of oak and chocolate. The last in the quartet is Laphroaig Quarter Cask. The Islay whisky is complex with full-bodied peat smoke and slight sweetness.
