This exclusive edition from the Swiss distillery ORMA combines tradition with innovative cask maturation. The whisky first matured in a 500-litre French oak pinot noir cask before receiving its unique finish in 40-year-old Canadian maple syrup casks made from American oak. The result is a complex Swiss Single Malt Whisky with a balanced flavour profile that combines cocoa, coffee, dried fruit and subtle nutty notes, rounded off by a pleasantly sweet finish. The characteristic "X" bottle symbolises the distillery's tenth anniversary and gives this edition a simple yet dominant design. With 44% volume and 70cl content, the ORMA X Edition - Pinot Noir Cask is the perfect choice for lovers of Swiss whisky and Single Malt Whisky from high-quality casks.
