Powers Three Swallow Release is distilled in traditional Pot Stills. It is matured mainly in American bourbon casks, where its characteristics are enhanced and complemented by a strong wood character. The combination with a small component matured in sherry casks gives Powers Three Swallow a balanced finesse.

Aroma: Frische Vanille mit etwas Toastbrot.

Geschmack: Intensiv und leicht scharf mit einer zarten Bitterkeit, die an Schokolade und Eichenhonig erinnert. Sehr kräftig und leicht ölig. Süsser werdend ab dem zweiten Schluck.

Abgang: Wärmendes Toffee und lang

Kommentar: Sehr schöner Alltagswhiskey und weit raffinierter als die (rote) Standardabfüllung. Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis

Aroma: Pot-Still-Würze verbindet sich mit Noten von Gerste, Kräutern und weichen Akzenten von grüner Banane. Grapefruit und Marzipan folgen mit einer dezenten Holz-Komponente.

Geschmack: Weiche und mundfüllende Anklänge von Gerste, dazu Facetten von grünen Äpfeln und Zitrusnoten. Kräuter und Würze verbinden sich zum Ende hin mit einem Hauch Zedernholz.

Abgang: Würzige Süße weicht dem Gerstencharakter aus der Pot Still, mit einem Hauch von Sherry und knackigem Müsli-Finish mit gerösteten Eichennoten.
