The Rémy Martin XO is the signature of the cellar master, who carefully blends hundreds of eaux-de-vie with his expertise. The art of blending allows the full aromatic complexity of the XO Cognac to be explored in terms of flavour. XO translates as "Extra Old" and is used for Cognacs that have been matured for at least ten years in oak barrels. This long ageing allows the aromas hidden in the barrels to develop in the Cognac and develop complex flavour profiles. In the case of Rémy Martin XO, this ensures floral and fruity accents with nutty facets and a hint of honey.
