With this Scarabus Bordeaux Cask Grand Cru Finish Batch Strength, Hunter Laing presents for the first time an exclusive special edition of the mystical Islay Single Malt, which has been refined with an exceptional Grand Cru finish in Bordeaux wine casks. The casks and the 57% vol. give the smoky Islay malt additional notes of dark berries. The Islay malt was bottled in its natural colour, unfiltered. Scarabus is the name of a mystical place on the Scottish island of Islay and means 'a rocky place'. The Single Malt from the independent bottler Hunter Laing from Glasgow is named after this place.
