Stauning R.Y.E. PX Sherry Oak is a premium Danish rye whisky made from rye and barley, combining the distillery’s distinctive spicy character with an intense Pedro Ximénez sherry cask finish. After maturing in virgin American oak casks, the whisky undergoes a secondary maturation in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which lends it additional depth and a rich bouquet. It is bottled at 46% vol. The Stauning Distillery is one of Denmark’s best-known whisky distilleries and is renowned for its artisanal production, regional grains and traditional production methods. With innovative ideas and a clear commitment to quality, the distillery has made a name for itself internationally. With the R.Y.E. PX, Stauning presents the distillery’s first permanently available rye whisky with a sherry cask finish. Aromas of raisins, figs, caramel and vanilla meet the characteristic spiciness of rye and subtle oak notes. The result is a balanced, multi-layered whisky that harmoniously combines spicy intensity with fruity sweetness.

Geschmack: Vollmundig und würzig mit süßen Sherrynoten, dunklen Früchten, Karamell, Vanille, Pfeffer, Roggengewürzen und gerösteter Eiche.
Abgang: Lang und wärmend mit anhaltender Würze, Trockenfrüchten, süßer Eiche und einem Hauch von Kakao.
