Still G.I.N. is the first gin from Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg - a clear, mild yet complex premium gin that doesn't need a big show. The name alludes to the track "Still D.R.E.", of course, but also to the craft behind the product: a pure, well thought-out Gin that doesn't copy anything and defines everything itself. Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg have not simply lent their names to the project, but have actively contributed to its development - from the recipe to the bottle. The Gin is distilled in an elaborate process: Citrus peels such as mandarin, lemon, orange and grapefruit are peeled by hand to keep the essential oils fresh. Classic botanicals such as juniper, coriander and black pepper are coarsely crushed and distilled over copper. Finer ingredients such as jasmine root, rose petals and cherry blossom undergo gentle vacuum distillation so that their flavours are not lost. The result is a modern but accessible Gin that impresses with floral and citrus-fresh notes - tangerine, jasmine and coriander in particular characterise the taste and aroma. With 42.5 % alcohol, it is strong enough for classic cocktails, but also works on its own or on ice. The look of the bottle - created by designer Ini Archibong - is just as clear and modern as the contents. Still G.I.N. is not an overloaded show or marketing gin, but a well thought-out, honest New Western gin that is really well made and will win over gin lovers and hip-hop fans alike.

Geschmack: Weich und klar, Zitrusbetont mit süßlich-herber Mandarine, dazu blumige Tiefe durch Jasmin und Rosenblätter. Würzige Untertöne von Koriander, Cassia und Pfeffer kommen hinzu und untermalen den leicht süßlichen Mittelteil.
Abgang: Trocken, rein und langanhaltend, mit dezenter Wärme, erneut leicht florale und würzige Facetten, klarer Abschluss mit feiner Zitrusfrische.
