    Aroma: In der Nase kommen sofort feine Noten von Birne, grünem Apfel und weißen Blüten entgegen, dezente Süße, vielversprechend.

    Geschmack: Weniger komplex als die Nase, aber ein feiner Geschmack von Blüten, Vanillesüße und Äpfeln und Birnen in der unverkennbaren Malzigkeit eines irischen Whiskey, der seine Jugend jedoch nicht verbergen kann.

    Abgang: Mittellang und mit Noten von scharfem Pfeffer, aber trotzdem bleiben die floralen Noten von Äpfeln und Birnen erkennbar.

    Kommentar: Mein erster West Cork, reiner Zufallskauf, aber ich bin positiv überrascht. Gutes Fassmanagement, solider Whiskey mit dem gewissen etwas. Wenn man dem noch 2 Jahre mehr in den Fässern gönnt, wird das ein Meisterwerk. Von West Cork werde ich mir definitiv noch mehr gönnen!
