Akashi Meisei is a creation of various malt and grain whiskies. Initially matured in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak, the blend was finished in sherry casks. The grain components give the Akashi blend a pleasantly mild character, while the sherry cask finish provides fine chocolate and dried fruit flavours. Don't be fooled by the appearance of the bottle, it is actually a 0.5 litre bottle.
