With the Excalibur range, Donald and Andy Hart of Meadowside Blending Co. Ltd. are presenting a new series of selected single cask bottlings in 0.5-litre bottles. The series complements the well-known Maltman bottlings with high-quality single casks at a drinking strength of 49.2% ABV. All bottlings are presented in their natural colour and are non-chill-filtered. The Aultmore Sherry Hogshead – Excalibur is a 17-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Speyside and forms part of this series. Distilled in 2009, it was matured in a sherry hogshead and bottled at 49.2% ABV. Full-bodied and complex, it offers fruity notes, complemented by salted pecans, warming cinnamon spices and hints of apple pie. Bottled without added colouring and without chill filtration, this single cask release retains its natural character.
