The Mantuano Rum has been part of Botucal's core range since the end of 2016, beginning of 2017 - internationally also known as "Ron Diplomático" - and replaces the Reserva Rum. The Botucal Mantuano Rum is based on the popular flagship Botucal Reserva Exclusiva with many facets. Tasteful notes of dried fruits, sweet vanilla and hints of spices are due, among other things, to the eight years of ageing, but the distillation in Batch Kettle, Column Still and Pot Still are also responsible for the balanced interplay of sweetness and spice. Translated, 'Mantuano' means something like noble man of honour. Like all the distillery's rums, this bottling is made from a mix of sugar cane honey and molasses.
So that you can comfortably transport the rum to the next tasting event, a hip backpack made of kraft paper is included in the scope of delivery, in which smaller purchases and items can also be stowed.
