Craigellachie means stony hill. The distillery continues to use traditional worm tubs to cool the distillate. They give the whisky a special Taste. This Single Malt Whisky is produced as a limited batch and matured for 23 years in First Fill Bourbon casks and First Fill Sherry casks before it was bottled neither chill-filtered nor coloured with increased alcohol content.

In the heart of the Speyside near the little town of Craigellachie/Banffshire lies a distillery that was founded in 1891 at the peak of the Whisky boom and survived until today. Eine edle Nase,
Holz und Vanille.
Das setzt sich geschmacklich fort,
die Fassnoten überwiegen.
Nicht süß, nicht würzig,
feine Holzaromen pur.
