This Edradour was initially matured in former Bourbon hogsheads for 13 years from 1999. On 18 July 2013, the malt was transferred to a small selection of 25 freshly emptied Premier Grand Cru Bordeaux hogsheads, where it was matured for almost nine years.

Aroma: Orangefarbener Gerstenzucker und dunkles Traubengelee kombiniert mit Anklängen von Cranberry Nougat und kandierten Orangenschalen.

Geschmack: Durch Zugabe von Wasser kommen Noten orientalischer Süßspeisen und würziger Gerste hinzu.

Abgang: Lang und würzig mit ausklingenden, süßlichen Facetten.
