For this rum, which is at least 5 years old, the best Barbados and Jamaican rums from Pot and Column Still distillation were blended together. The intense fruitiness of Jamaican rums combines with the tropical fruit and coconut notes typical of Barbados to create a harmonious overall result. The rum spent most of its maturation time in a tropical climate and was only briefly post-matured in a continental climate.
