This Fettercairn is the third bottling of the 16-year-old. Apart from the age and the alcohol content, the 3rd release has nothing in common with its predecessors: The Highlander matured in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso and former bourbon casks. The bottle design is - as usual at Fettercairn - with a ring at the bottle neck and grooves in the bottle shoulder, which reflect the exceptionality of the distillery with outdoor cooling. The distillery's distinctive unicorn logo shines on the bottle and label.
