This Glenallachie comes from one of two sister casks and was bottled after 15 years in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt with the number 900863 for the Symington's Choice series. For the cask selection, Andrew Symington's expertise and Billy Walker's 50 years of experience came together to select a Single Malt that will satisfy discerning connoisseurs and advanced whisky connoisseurs. This whisky by experts for experts, bottled in limited quantities at 66.2% vol. at cask strength without chill-filtering and without the addition of colouring, represents complexity and enjoyment at the highest level. A drop of water softens the alcohol concentration and makes room for a multitude of new flavours.
