The Glenfiddich Reserva Rum Cask Finish was created on the occasion of the Chinese New Year in collaboration with the artist Raku Inoue. The 21-year-old single malt whisky was composed from Bourbon and sherry casks and given a 4-month finish in Caribbean rum casks.
The idea of the Chinese artist from Shenzhen shows the Glenfiddich stag as a twelve-pointer on its journey across the oceans to Asia, where it is expected during all the festivities of the Lunar New Year. The Chinese New Year festival Chunjie is considered the most important Chinese holiday on a new moon between 21 January and 21 February (10 February in 2024).

Glenfiddich Whiskies are usually matured in small Ex-Bourbon casks made from mild American white oak. This ensures that the fine, fruity flavour of the Malt Whisky is expressed particularly well.

Geschmack: Süße Toffeenoten mit Banane und Aprikose, dazu leichte Tabakakzente, Leder, Gewürze und etwas Pfeffer, angenehm trocknen und mild.
Abgang: Wärmend mit Gewürznoten und Aromen von trockenem Holz mit feinen Fruchtnoten.
