Highland Park Dragon Legend shows the strongest side of the island distillery. The Single Malt is particularly intense and smoky. Dragons were feared and at the same time revered by the Vikings. According to legend, the warrior Sigurd received magical powers by defeating one of these mythical creatures.

Aroma: Schwache Frucht, süß, dezenter Rauch

Geschmack: Weich, sich entwickelnder intensiver Rauch, helle Früchte, wärmende Würze

Abgang: Eiche, trocken werdend, exzellent langer Rauch

Kommentar: Ob der Preis im Vergleich zur Standartabfüllung gerechtfertigt ist, ist eine interessante Frage. Ich habe diverse Abfüllungen davon probiert und finde die Neuinterpretationen gut, aber auch nicht günstig.
