Proef Rich notes of milk chocolate and creamy toffee, accompanied by a hint of spicy ginger. The Oloroso casks lend a distinctive richness and a sweet, spicy depth.

This 14-year-old Linkwood was released by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. It forms part of the Signatory 100 Proof Edition, which is no longer limited to high-proof, uncoloured whiskies, but comprises affordable bottlings that are consistently bottled at 57.1% vol., which equates to exactly 100 proof. British proof is a historical unit of measurement for the alcohol content of spirits, which was primarily used in the United Kingdom before the percentage by volume (% vol) became the standard. This whisky was matured for 14 years in first-fill and refill Oloroso casks, which imparted fruity notes with oaky spice and subtle cocoa aromas to this Speyside Single Malt Whisky.

    Aroma: Reife Äpfel und malzige Süße verbinden sich mit Fruchtnoten dunkler Sultaninen und einem Hauch von Toffee. Eichenwürze und feiner Kakao runden das Bouquet mit eleganter Komplexität ab.

    Geschmack: Dichte Noten von Milchschokolade und cremigem Toffee, begleitet von einer würzigen Ingwernote. Die Oloroso-Fässer verleihen eine markante Fülle und süß-würzige Tiefe.

    Abgang: Lang und mit feiner Struktur edler Eiche sowie verbleibenden Kakaoakzenten.
