The 5-year-old Puni Arte No. 4 belongs to the first series of single malt whiskies from the Italian family distillery Puni and is made from regional grains. The whisky has a slightly smoky flavour, although it is made from unpeated malt. This is due to the fact that peated (smoky) malt was used in a production cycle immediately beforehand. Before number 4 of the series was bottled in the particularly artistic bottles, the whisky matured for 5.4 years exclusively in Merlot wine casks from a well-known South Tyrolean winery.
