Beschrijving van het product

With the 27-year-old Redbreast Ruby Port Cask, the Irish brand presents a cask-strength edition that impressively reflects Redbreast's craftsmanship and exceptional expertise in cask maturation. The time-honoured Irish Pot Still whiskey, which has been matured for a very long time by Irish standards, was refined in first fill port casks from the Douro Valley. These gave the typical character of Redbreast from first and second-fill bourbon casks and sherry butts a complex flavour profile and additional depth. The bottling is the crowning glory for the already flavoursome and versatile standard range of the traditional Irish brand.

Aroma: Eine Mix aus exotischen Früchten und roten Beeren, ergänzt durch frische Kräuter und Gewürze. Vanillesüße und Karamelltoffee verbinden sich mit der Nussigkeit von geröstetem Eichenholz.

Geschmack: Reichhaltige Textur mit einer Kombination aus reifen Steinfrüchten und Sommerbeeren, ausbalanciert durch einen Hauch von Chiliöl. Kirsch-Menthol, Vanille und süße Gewürze wie Zimt ergänzen rote Paprika, Muskatnuss und geröstete Eiche folgen nach.

Abgang: Lang und voll mit reifen Früchten und Gewürzen.
