In our Whisky.de Live Event, you will taste our three specially composed Blended Malts Highland Cattle, Whisky.de Malt by Horst Lüning and Unicorn with Ben and Horst Lüning. We actively designed the tastes of the Blended Malt Scotch Whiskies in a creative process. Highland Cattle matures predominantly in former sherry casks, Whisky.de Malt by Horst Lüning was blended exactly according to his ideas from Bourbon and sherry casks, while Einhorn represents the mystical-smoky counterpart.

Kommentar: Ein sehr schönes Set. Praktisch wie gemacht für Einsteiger. Hier kann man von jeder der drei klassischen Macharten (Bourbonlastig / SHerrylastig / Rauchig) einen sehr guten Vertreter probieren. SInd auch alles Whiskys, von denen man sich mal eine Großflasche leisten kann. Also sehr gelungen meiner Meinung nach...

Kommentar: vom Geruch her sehr ausgewogen mit guten Noten von Sherry und Orangensaft, jedoch selbst nach dem zweiten Schlückchen der Probe überwiegen Eiche und Gewürze im Mund. Langer wärmender Abgang, aber leider kein signifikanter Anklang dunkler Schokolade - hier ist große Vorstellungkraft gefordert.
Alles in Allem ein guter Tropfen für einen guten Preis, jedoch für mich nicht der größte Wurf.
