Edradour

The Edradour Pinot Noir Cask is part of a new whisky series from Edradour owner and Signatory founder Andrew Symington, which was created in collaboration with the St. Michael-Eppan winery from South Tyrol. The 13-year-old single malt matured in a single Pinot Noir cask, which further enhances the whisky with subtle notes from the wine cask. Pinot Noir is an important red wine variety that is generally considered to be of high quality. The wine is sometimes referred to as the king of red wines. Maturing in this wine barrel gives the whisky notes of red fruit and accents of cinnamon.

The Edradour Merlot Cask is part of a new whisky series from Edradour owner and Signatory founder Andrew Symington, which was created in collaboration with the St. Michael-Eppan winery from South Tyrol. This 11-year-old single malt matured in a single Merlot cask, which refines the whisky with fine notes from the Merlot wine cask. Merlot is one of the most popular grape varieties in the world, which can now be discovered in combination with this Edradour single malt, which is neither coloured nor chill-filtered.

The Edradour Sauvignon Cask is part of a new whisky series from Edradour owner and Signatory founder Andrew Symington, which was created in collaboration with the St. Michael-Eppan winery from South Tyrol. The 11-year-old single malt matured in a single Cabernet Sauvignon cask, which further enhances the whisky with subtle notes from the wine cask. This Edradour was matured in the first-fill Sauvignon Cask #1001, resulting in seductive fruity notes and a pleasant minerality. The Sauvignon is the winery's most famous wine.

This Edradour is a speciality from the Highlands distillery. The Single Malt Scotch matured for at least 10 years in bourbon casks before it was bottled at natural cask strength.

The second batch of the 12-year-old Edradour Oloroso Sherry Butts matured exclusively in first and second fill Oloroso casks from Andalusia. The cask-strength Single Malt is bottled without chill-filtration or colouring, allowing its dark-fruity and nutty aroma to unfold magnificently.

This Edradour was initially matured in former Bourbon hogsheads for 13 years from 1999. On 18 July 2013, the malt was transferred to a small selection of 25 freshly emptied Premier Grand Cru Bordeaux hogsheads, where it was matured for almost nine years.

After almost seven years in refill ex-Bourbon hogsheads, this old Edradour was decanted into fresh Oloroso sherry casks, where it matured until bottling. Only two of a total of 58 casks were blended together here and bottled as a small batch.

This 25-year-old and venerable Edradour single malt whisky is one of the oldest bottlings from the distillery, which has been owned by Signatory founder and whisky entrepreneur Andrew Symington since 2002. Symington and his team attach great importance to producing whisky in its most original form and rely on distillation in small copper pot stills, hand-selected casks and great attention to detail. The Edradour Ibisco Decanter was matured in first-fill sherry butts and, after a quarter of a century, bottled in bulky and elegant decanters, the shape of which is also familiar from exclusive Signatory bottlings. The single malt is bottled as a small batch and is decanted as the distillery created it: without added colour, without chill-filtering and at cask strength. The name Ibisco was chosen because the decanter is reminiscent of the shape of a hibiscus flower.

This Edradour Eilean Dubh "The Dark One" single malt whisky is a new edition of a sold-out special bottling from the Edradour Distillery. The cask-strength Highland whisky matured in former sherry casks and is an insider tip for connoisseurs. It was named after the Gaelic term for "black island", which in turn is due to the dark mahogany colour of the single malt.

Edradour is one of the smallest producing distilleries in Scotland. Edradour produces only as much malt whisky in the whole year as large distilleries produce in a single week. Edradour is a very intense Single Malt with a clear sherry cask influence.
