Cragganmore impresses with a very good balance. Aroma, Taste and finish harmonise exceptionally well. The 12-year-old is malty dry and slightly smoky. This malt is for delicate palates. Which whiskies are suitable for beginners? In our Beginner Live Tasting, we present four Single Malts that are particularly suitable as a start into the world of whisky. Highlands Park 12 Years is spicy and sweet due to its maturation in sherry casks. Tomintoul 10 Years is milder, a pleasantly soft whisky from Speyside. Also from this region is Dailuaine 16 years, which combines notes of oak and chocolate. The last in the quartet is Laphroaig Quarter Cask. The Islay whisky is complex with full-bodied peat smoke and slight sweetness.

Which whiskies are suitable for beginners? In our beginner's live tasting, we present four Single Malts that are particularly suitable for getting started in the world of whisky. They include the intense Edradour 10 with a clear sherry cask influence, the Nc'nean Organic, which uses a combination of STR wine casks (55%), bourbon casks (43%) and Oloroso sherry casks (2%), the Talisker Port Ruighe matured in port wine casks and the 10-year-old, cask-strength, current Batch 10 from Glenallachie.

Our Whisky.de crystal glass is particularly suitable for tasting.

The live tasting will take place on Tuesday, 26.12.2023. At 7 pm you will taste the four entry-level Single Malts together with Ben and Horst Lüning. The tasting will then take place in English at 8 pm.
