The Single Malt Aberlour a'bunadh (Gaelic: The Original) bears no age statement. It is not chill-filtered and is bottled in batches with their natural cask strength directly from the cask. Maturation takes place exclusively in Oloroso Sherry Butts.
Each new batch differs in the volume percentages and therefore tastes slightly different from its predecessors.

Geschmack: ebenfalls mickrig, früher hat der einen umgehauen. Oak Sherry Spices

Abgang: auch nicht überzeugend, die Wildkirsche von früher fehlt ganz.

Kommentar: lohnt nicht wirklich. Mogelpackung, verdünnt wäre er zu mickrig, also wird er groß als Faßstärke-Whisky angeboten. Verdünnt merkt man den Schwindel.
