After establishing the successful whisky corerange, Amrut dares to produce rum. The Two Indies Rum was created in honour of the historical rum cultures and rum producers of India and the Caribbean islands. The basis for the rum is jaggery, an Indian cane sugar that is distilled on column and potstills.

Abgang: Trocken, würzig mit leichter Schärfe (nicht alkoholisch)

Kommentar: Preis - Leistung ist OK. Die Whiskys von Amrut gefallen mir besser.
PS: selbst auf Eis behält er lange seine Intensität

Aroma: Akzente von Mandeln mit frisch geschnittenem Zuckerrohr, Noten mit tropischen Früchten, dazu ein Hauch gereifter Banane.

Geschmack: Leicht trocken, mit Anklängen von Zuckerrohr und einem Schuss tropischer Früchte mit Honig.

Abgang: Süßer und trockener Abgang.
