Ben Nevis Oloroso and Bourbon Hogsheads, Cadenhead’s Original Collection 13 Years 2012/2026

The Original Collection from Cadenhead, Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, WM Cadenhead Ltd., presents high-quality whiskies with a natural taste, without chill filtration and without the addition of colourings. The 13-year-old Single Malt from the Ben Nevis Distillery forms part of this range and, following maturation in selected Oloroso and Bourbon hogsheads, was bottled at 46% ABV, resulting in a flavour profile featuring notes of apricot jam, steamed fruit pudding (Clootie Dumpling) and ginger. This continues on the palate with hints of sugar syrup and cardamom rolls, giving way to a finish characterised by cocoa and redcurrants.
