This Braeval belongs to the Cask Strength Collection by Signatory Vintage, in which the whiskies were bottled directly at cask strength. They are especially recommended for advanced connoisseurs. The malt matured for 21 long years in a single refill butt.

Kommentar: In der Nase zunächst Gewürze und Ledernoten, gefolgt von Trockenfrüchten und einer Karamellnote, dann Eiche, Mandeln und nach Zugabe von etwas Wasser auch Kräuternoten
Auf der Zunge macht sich zunächste eine Honigsüße und Cremigkeit bemerkbar, dann Mandeln, zunehmend malziger und trockener werdend, gefolgt von Kaffee-, Schokoladen- und Eichennoten, zum Ende hin eine leichte Schärfe
Im mittellangen Abgang zuerst herbe Noten, dann zunehmend würziger, später malzig-süß und trockener werdend.
