This Raasay bottling was produced with lightly peated malt and belongs to the core range of the island distillery. The tasting size of 0.05 litres and 46.4% matured just like its big sibling in First Fill Rye Whiskey Casks, Virgin Chinkapin Oak Casks and First Fill Bordeaux Red Wine Casks.

Aroma: Leicht rauchig, voll

Geschmack: leicht rauchig, als NAS Whisky recht komplex, viel Frucht, sehr vollmundig

Kommentar: trinke eher keinen Rauch, höchstens mal Highland Park, Cu Bocan o.ä. Hab das Sample in Portree gekauft und muss sagen: super positiv überrascht. Klare Empfehlung für Speyside/Rauch Grenzgänger. Für mich perfekt für den Winter.
