Product description
The St. Kilian distillery was built according to the Scottish model and has been in operation since 2016. It is distilled on 6,000 litre copper stills from the Scottish company Forsyths in Rothes. The local malt is milled in the in-house mill and then mashed. The 'Signature Edition One' is now the distillery's first Single Malt and was allowed to mature for three years in ex-Bourbon, rum, PX sherry and chestnut casks as well as ex-Bourbon quarter casks.

Geschmack: - zunächst fruchtig, dann würzig, später auch "sprittig" und etwas bitter

Abgang: - Malz

Kommentar: - bei deutlichem Brennereicharakter merkt man ihm seinen Jugend doch an, kippt auf der Zunge m.E. leider in die falsche Richtung... solider Einstieg in die Signature-Reihe der Brennerei, aber kein Vergleich mit den späteren Abfüllungen
