Remedy was created during Prohibition in the United States of America. During this time, rum was sold in pharmacies under medical pretences. Rums from Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and the Dominican Republic form the basis for the Remedy Pineapple rum spirit. It is refined with an essence of pineapple.
