The recipe for Tanqueray Gin was developed as early as the 1830s by Charles Tanqueray. Bartenders all over the world swear by Tanqueray's Malacca and use it for cocktails and other long drinks in addition to gin and tonic creations. It is made from botanicals such as cloves, peppercorns, coriander, juniper, angelica root, rose petals, various citrus fruits, liquorice, nutmeg and vanilla.
