Product description
At the end of the 19th century, Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor was instrumental in creating the guideline that made 'Bottled in Bond' an American quality designation for whiskeys. This Kentucky Straight Rye was created from rye and malted barley and matured for at least four years in fresh American oak barrels. It is bottled at 50% vol. which corresponds to 100 proof. Proof is an old unit of measurement used to determine the alcohol content of drinks, especially whiskey. In England, an alcohol content of 57% corresponds to 100 proof, while in the USA 100 proof corresponds to an alcohol content of 50%.

Aroma: Fruchtig-süß & ganz fein Pfefferminz ...
Geschmack: Fruchtig und leicht pfeffrig-würzig
Abgang: Anhaltend; Feigen-fruchtig und Puderzucker
Kommentar:

Overall, Colonel E.H. Taylor Rye is a superbly crafted whiskey, perfect for those who appreciate the bold and peppery character of a high-rye mashbill. It is an excellent choice for enthusiasts seeking a well-balanced and flavorful rye whiskey experience.
