The Compass Box Delos is the second bottling from The Extinct Blends series. Single Malts from the Glen Elgin, Imperial and Miltonduff distilleries are combined with Grain Whisky from Cameronbridge for this bottling. The creation is matured in first-filled Bourbon barrels and Recharred barrels made of American oak. The Delos is a new edition of the Asyla Blend, which was released in 2001 and was part of the core range until 2018. With Delos, the focus has been on capturing the vibrancy and sweetness of Asyla, using older stocks. The limited bottling is not chill-filtered and comes without the addition of colour in the beautifully shaped bottles.
