Product description
The Craigellachie Octave Sherryfinish belongs to the Octave series by Duncan Taylor and was bottled exclusively for Whisky.de. When maturing in Octave casks, the independent bottler experiments with the influence of the cask size on the maturation. At around 50 litres, the casks are only a fraction as large as the more common types of cask. As a result, the whisky has more contact with the cask surface and matures more intensively.

Ich finde ja gerade die Schwefelnote sehr interessant. Genau deswegen kaufe ich Einzelfassabfüllungen von Craigellachie.

Kommentar: Dieser Whiskäy (um mit der Stimme von Ben zu sprechen) hat leider zu viel Schwefel-Anteil aus den nicht näher genannten Fässern. Sonst war mein Sample okay.
