Product description
For Deanston Virgin Oak, some casks were blended with young whisky and finished in burnt-out American oak casks.
The Deanston distillery was built in the premises of an old cotton mill. Everywhere in the premises there is the flair of the 19th century. After closing in the mid-1980s, production resumed in 1991.

Kommentar: Lässt sich mit der Auswahl der Tasticons schwierig beschreiben. Wer Virgin Oak mag kommt hier auf seine kosten. Er hat gerade das richtige Verhältnis um lecker zu sein und nicht wie ein frisch gehobeltes Eichenbrett auf dem Käse liegt zu schmecken.

Kommentar: Anfangs etwas spitz und scharf. Nach 2 Wochen gewinnt der Whisky an Tiefe. PLV gut.
