Product description
This 10-year-old Glenallachie was created exclusively for the German market by Billy Walker, the Master Distiller of the Speyside distillery, and matured for over eight years in former bourbon casks before being refined in old, highly saturated Ruby Port casks. Without the addition of colour and without chill filtering, the Single Malt Whisky is then bottled at 48%.

Kommentar: Intensiver und sehr fruchtiger Whisky. Es kommen leichte Bitternoten durch, welche stark an Schokolade erinnern. Generell sehr zu empfehlen, vor allem wenn man auf fruchtige/sherrylastige Whiskys steht

Aroma: Im Geruch sehr fruchtig. Erinnert an süße Beeren. Eine leichte Alkoholnote, die sich allerdings vornehm im Hintergrund hält. Dann Honig bzw. Sirup.

Geschmack: Im Mund sehr voll. Erst angenehm süß auf der Zunge (Honig, Sirup) dann Geschmack nach dunkler Schokolade. Speichelflusserregend. Die 48 Vol. machen sich allerdings bemerkbar.

Abgang: Abgang anhaltend mit leichter - jedoch sehr bekömmlicher - Bitterkeit.

Kommentar: Wundervoller Whisky für Freunde von fruchtig süßen Malts! Bei Einsteigern oder Bedarf kann man den Alkoholgehalt wundervoll mit ein paar Tropfen Wasser mindern. Fruit Berries Grape Honey Vanilla Dark Chocolate Sherry

Kommentar: Sehr schöne Farbe (Kupfer?) und sehr rund im Geschmack. Klasse, was da in 10 Jahren für eine Komplexität aufgebaut wurde.
