Product description
The Highland Park Full Volume matured only in first-fill bourbon casks (200 litre barrels and 250 litre hogsheads). Full Volume is one of the few Highland Park bottlings that does not play with Nordic mythology. It was inspired by the world of music: The bottling symbolises the importance of creating balance - in whisky as in music.

Aroma: Heather Caramel Vanilla Chocolate ein schönes Bouquet an Aromen, Heidekraut gepaart mit viel Vanillie und Schockolade, dazu ein Hauch Karamell, intensiv in der Nase liegend

Geschmack: Oak Caramel Vanilla Floral Dark Chocolate im Gaumen dann die 18 Jahre auf jeden Fall spürbar, auch hier wieder eine florale Note neben schönen süßen Noten. Wenn Er Zeit im Glas bekommt, werden die Karamell und Vanillie Noten noch intensiver!


Abgang: Oak Sweet Spices ein Würzig und pikanter Abgang, etwas wärmend mit deutlich Eiche und würzig-süßer Mischung. Kein brennen, sehr sanft und angenehm!

Kommentar: die 18 Jahre sind auf jeden Fall präsent, dennoch einen Stern Abzug da sich die Aromenvielfalt leider nicht so weit ausdehnt wie Ich mir gewünscht hätte! Von Rauchigkeit ist auch nicht viel zu spüren, ganz wenige Akzente in der Nase. Dennoch ein schöner Highland Park!
