The Kōloa Rum Company produces rum in small batches. The distillery is located on the small Hawaiian island of Kauaʻi, also known as the 'Garden Island'. Local sugar cane and rainwater from Mount Waiʻale'ale, the highest mountain and volcano on the island, are used for the Kōloa Rum. The Koloa Kaua i Coffee is made from the mash of a Hawaiian raw sugar and double distilled in a steam-powered Copper Pot Still. The rum is then flavoured with natural coffee beans from the Kauaʻi Coffee Company and reduced to 34% vol. with filtered water from Mount Waiʻaleʻale. Drinking strength reduced.
