Taste Full-bodied and intense flavour with cane sugar, molasses and geranium. With freshly squeezed orange.
Finish Full and long with coffee, cinnamon and ginger. Floral with nutty notes.

Product description
The Last Ward Barbados 2007 honours Frank Ward as a family member of the iconic Ward family. The Mont Gay Estate rum distillery was acquired by the family in 1918. The distillery itself is considered to be the oldest distillery in the world still in operation, with a founding date of 1703. This pure single rum was triple distilled in a pot still and matured in bourbon casks for 16 years in a tropical climate. The Angels' Share is 70 per cent. It is not coloured and is considered a rarity.

Aroma: Ein raffiniertes und komplexes Aroma. Gleichermaßen exotische Früchte und Gewürze wie Kardamom und Muskat, dazu Laub und Edelholz.

Geschmack: Vollmundiger und intensiver Geschmack mit Rohrzucker, Melasse und Geranie. Dazu frisch gepresste Orange.

Abgang: Voll und lang mit Kaffee, Zimt und Ingwer. Dazu blumig mit nussigen Noten.
